Bio and History

Maple Hill Farm was built by Victor Putnam starting in 1982. He moved his family syrup business from Summit to Maple Hill Farm in 1984. Since then, Victor and his partner Caroline Foote have offered educational tours of the sugaring operation, expanded the country store to include anything maple, local and orgain foods and unique, made in the USA artistic creations.

The store is open year round (call before coming to check hours). Recently, the farm just became Certified Naturally Grown.

In the Country Store located on site and at various retail locations throughout Schoharie County and the Capitol District.

What´s in Season?

Full line of Maple Products produced on site which includes, Maple Syrup, Granulated Maple Sugar, Maple Sugar Candy, Maple Cream, Maple Glazed Nuts, Gourmet Maple Pecan Coffee, Maple Teas, Maple Scented Candles and Maple Gift Sets.

The farm also harvests timber and offers board lumber, builds custom barns and sheds and designs and constructs horse jumps. Firewood and Certified Naturally Grown Hay is also available.
